The most common emotion that has preoccupied everyone is “fear”, “apprehensiveness” and “uncertainty”.
Families suffer to earn their daily bread and poor classes have to really look forward to ways that can fetch them a day’s meal. The financial constraint have had family into anxiety and worries to put up with the financial responsibilities. There is a havoc in the entire city . Most of us wake up in the morning and consume the bombardment of information about the pandemic that make us vulnerable and trigger our emotions, making us feel anxious or stressed .
Students are going through a really tough roller coaster ride of emotions too because their education/job is at halt and there is no certainty about their future. The fact that things are not going to be the same or easy in the coming future considering the economic breakdown of the country , it makes them all nervous and stressed.
While these feelings are completely normal because of the unprecedented circumstances we are in, it’s important to curb its impact on us both emotionally and physically. We must distract ourselves from negative thoughts and spend quality time with family and friends because we all are in this together.

The Covid-19 pandemic caused a quagmire situation and even though everyone was in a panicked state of mind, the lockdown gave us a sense of relief and for most people it felt like a much needed vacation from their otherwise strenuous and monotonous schedule. In its initial days the lockdown felt like a breath of fresh air instead of a prison with no exits; with the passing days our boredom grew and since we social beings were being deprived of the very thing which kept our minds sane, our anxiety skyrocketed and loneliness became our companion especially for those living alone.Negative thoughts filled our minds due to the morbid situations reported to us via news channels, and it became easier to succumb to laziness instead of stimulating our minds and trying to be productive.Keeping our minds healthy amidst this lockdown surely has been a gruelling task.
Even in these hard times it's important to remember that we are living through a pandemic so it's acceptable if our mental health isn't the best right now.Being patient with ourselves is the key to a healthy mind"If we don't repair we will forever be in despair"hence we should take full advantage of this lockdown and make this a time for self healing.

Lockdown can lead to all sorts of feeling such as fear, anxiety or stress, but high levels of stress can negatively affect mental and physical health.Taking care of ur minds is always important, but doing so in the middle of a pandemic can be tricky. So the real question is how should we all go through this lockdown, keeping ourselves healthy-both mentally and physically? We can start our day with a positive attitude maybe adding a simple mindfulness exercise to our morning routine. This exercise can help us check how we are feeling and help us cope better with stress.
Although it might be tempting to spend your day in the bed, start planning your day by adapting and creating positive new routines that can be helpful and keep us motivated. Connect with your friends and family regularly, this activity will release feel-good hormones helping us to stay calm and stress-free. “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn
on the light.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with unprecedented times with clouds of
uncertainty looming large over our present and future. With nearly 2/3 rd of the world being under lockdown state, stress and anxiety are bound to take over our peace of mind. These depressing events take a toll on our mental health with they being supplemented by lockdown. Let’s analyze how.
Living under isolation with restricted movement and constant craving to see the near and dear ones for those stranded causes loneliness and irritation. The distressing news of numerous deaths and plights due to pandemic makes our heart shiver about how the world will restore to it’s state of normalcy. While social distancing and quarantining led us apart from the world succumbing our minds to deep abyss of loneliness, it brought us closer to ourselves and our families. We have the much desired “me time” to make us realize our untapped potential and an opportunity to unveil our latent talents. We have little moments to cherish along with coping mechanisms for boredom like trying something new.
The pandemic has taught us that at the end, it’s our own home and family that keeps us safe and we don’t need material pursuits to survive. All we need is to find a ray of positivity and spread it.
